And then there is an option to debug (that I can't do without the proper code). And crashes a lot.Ĭrash looks like that: everything freezes, then there is a info box from Visual Studio c++ Runtime Library that there were an runtime error and Krita requested the Runtime to terminate in an "unusual way". There is enough space for saving on my disk, and autosaving "sometimes" works, but usually not. Krita still reluctant to autosave, but it autosaved two times (not relevant with those two crashes, though: one crash was just after autosave and my save, and the other was irrelevant, like half an hour later or so). (Also, there is no new crash log for today in AppData/Local/kritacrash.log) I didn't lost a lot of progress, fortunately, but I heavily rely on this feature and it's the first time it failed for me. Where those files could go? (I checked in Krita temp directory, but unsuccessfully they aren't in user resource folder (no "templates" folder) or in Krita installation folder/templates/.source directory, I don't know where to check next). , and now there is no such thing even though there is an hour gap between my two saves. Usually after such process I have at least three files: two saved by me ( filename.kra, filename_001.kra) and one autosaved. There are no autosave files for either the previous version or the newer one. I have autosave feature set to 3 minutes, so I didn't worry too much, but I realized that Krita didn't autosave at all. I opened a template Japanese-En animation two hours ago and started painting, one hour ago I saved it (with my own filename), and like a 10 minutes ago I saved it again incrementally.
